COMMUNITY MINISTRIES

Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church located in Gouldtown, New Jersey is spreading God's love by serving the needs of God's people from all walks of life, whatever those needs may be. We are teaching and living the love that God has so generously blessed us with. The A.M.E. denomination grew out of a mutual aid society that regularly assisted the widowed, the sick, the jobless and the community as a whole. That same kind of loving outreach is a vital part of the A.M.E. Church's mission today. We would love to show you how much we love and care about you.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry's mission is "to fight hunger and poverty by the distribution of food and grocery products, by education and training, by creating model programs, and by involving all sectors of society in this battle". The Food Pantry was established in April 2006 when a group from within Trinity met to discuss the issue of hunger in our area. The Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization that provides food and grocery items within our community where needy people seek help. The food pantry is available on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon.

Outreach Ministry

The Outreach Ministry of Trinity A.M.E. Church was established to renew contact with members who have been out of fellowship. We reach out to our members to invite them back to church or to contact the Pastor for any special need they may have. Our goal is to help facilitate members resuming their fellowship with the church. We want to let the member know that they are missed and needed. We also send informational bulletins to members who are unable to attend, keeping them informed of what's going on in the church. The Outreach Ministry will contact anyone, member or non-member, with an invitation to visit us or to come back home.
